Who we are
Celestial Themes is an independent design studio that publishes templates and resources for the web, run from Romania. “We” and “us” on this page mean Celestial Themes; “you” means anyone who visits the site or uses our products.
Using this site
You are welcome to browse the site, read the documentation, try the live demos and download our free products. In return, please do not:
- try to break into, overload or disrupt the site, or get around its security;
- copy the site’s design, texts or images and present them as your own;
- use the site or our products for anything unlawful.
The site’s content (its text, design, screenshots and documentation) belongs to us unless stated otherwise. Quoting a passage or linking to a page with a credit is always fine.
Free products
Each free release comes with its licence inside the download, and that licence is what governs its use. Our free templates are released under the MIT licence: you may use them in personal and commercial projects, including client work, and change them as you like, as long as the licence notice stays with the code.
Downloads are served from GitHub, which has its own terms. The photographs in our live demos are there to show the design and are not part of the download; the template ships with placeholder images that you replace with your own.
Paid products
When we sell a product, the purchase is handled by a third-party platform: Freemius for products bought on our site, or Envato Market for products bought there. The platform takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles sales tax, under its own terms. What you may do with a paid product is set by the licence shown at checkout. If you buy from us directly, we will add the licence and refund terms to this site before the first sale.
Support
What we help with, and how to reach us, is described on the Support page. Help with free products is offered in good faith, without a guaranteed response time.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we send you occasional emails about new releases, major updates and articles. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. How we handle your address is explained in our Privacy policy.
Links to other sites
The site links to services we do not run, such as GitHub, CodePen and Envato Market. We are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
No warranty
We take care to keep the site and the documentation accurate and our products working, but the site and our free products are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Test any template in your own setup before you rely on it in production.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost data, arising from the use of the site or of our free products. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes, for example when we start selling products directly. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. The version published here when you use the site is the one that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you use the site as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
